To request the closure of your account, you have the following options:
Investment Centre
Visit any Banco Best Investment Centre.
Message Box (App or Website)
Send us a message attaching the duly completed and signed account closure form.
Manager
Request the account closure through your manager.
Customer Care Service
Contact us through +351 218 505 775 (Landline call).
If the account has multiple holders, all of them must communicate their intention to close the account.
The account must not have a negative balance.
The account must not hold any financial products.
The account must not have any active payment instruments associated (cards, checks, etc.).
Provide the IBAN of the account for transferring any positive balance;
Return active cards or authorize their cancellation;
Return unused checks or authorize their cancellation;
Settle amounts used in overdraft facilities;
Transfer insurance and/or leasing contracts to another supporting account;
Settle credit agreements associated with the account, including overdue amounts;
Settle or transfer mortgage loans;
Redeem or transfer products (term deposits, etc.);
Sell/redeem/transfer financial instruments or financial insurances (stocks, ETFs, investment funds, retirement plans, etc.);
Redeem or transfer savings products;
Terminate associated contracts.
